O'Leary was one of our first three bucks. He was long
bodied, angular, and, as you can see from his photo, cou clare.
He pasted these traits along with soft, milky udders to his
offspring.
Sire of Sides Dolley Madison and Sides Mayflower.
Grandsire of
MCH Marta
and Anne.
Other progeny includes
MCH Enchanted Hill Haiku, Kush-Hara
Joel +*S, and at least three *D daughters in the Kush-Hara Herd. |

(Everyone
says this about their bucks, but he really was more level across the
topline and rump!) |

Neapolitan was another one of our foundation bucks. His
progeny is some of my nicest, daughters include Marta and
Edelweiss. Both were a little slower to mature, but are
beautiful and have very well attached udders.

One of only two NC PromisedLand Beau +*S,
+B, Tur-Beau has some amazing relatives in the PromisedLand
herd. He threw long bodied, dairy kids and improved
udder texture and production. Three of his daughters
from our herd participated in a one day milk test in June of
2011 and all earned their milking stars, simultaniously earning
Tur-Beau's "+*S" designation with AGS.
Sire of Magnum,

Sandstorm wasn't a
buck I planned to buy, but after seeing the does Heather
Marciello brought to Nationals I thought he would make a great
addition to the herd.
Sandstorm stands on
strong feet and legs, has a very high, wide escutcheon, and
carries good width and depth throughout. He is heavily
line-bred on Stonewall's Raising Arizona ++S with a good deal of
ARMCH Goodwood Tom Thumb ++*S thrown in as well.

(Owned by
Terri Brown, Wooly Dog Down Farm.)
Besides having an exciting pedigree and flashy colors, Tex has
a stunning general appearance. He is very long level, has a
high, open escutcheon, and beautiful rear leg angulation. I am
very excited to be able to use him here at Pemberley. Thanks
Mrs. Brown, Mrs. LaFave, and Mr. Mike!

Sage is a long, wide, dairy, and powerful buck with an amazing
milk background. Sage's dam Suthrn is a 2004 Top 10 milker (5th milk, 6th protein, 7th
butterfat) and an important doe in several breeding programs
throughout the country, besides having a stellar show record
including the 2003 Reserve National Champion title. Suthrn
was reserve to ARMCH Inavale Felicia, Sage's paternal granddam
and another tremendous milker and dam of many beautiful does in
the Caesar's Villa herd. Besides all that, Sage is also
line-bred on ARMCH Stetson, one of the most influential bucks in
the breed's history, sire of many Top 10 milkers and multiple
National Champions.
Used, courtesy of David Aguirre and Kid'n Acres, for the
2010/2011 breeding season. |
