Honey Bear is a
thrilling new addition to Pemberley Acres. His dam is the
magnificent ARMCH Rosasharn's Buckwheat Honey, the 2007 AGS
National Champion and Best Udder and 2010 ADGA Reserve National
Champion. Honey is also a true miniature dairy goat
winning AGS Top Ten honors for milk, butterfat, and
protein four years in a row (2003-2006)! Honey is one of
the most remarkable Nigerian does ever bred, combining sound
structure, depth and width, beautiful dairiness, style, an
incredibly productive, shapely, well attached udder.
Honey Bear's
paternal ancestors are no less exciting. His sire, Tom
Fulery, is a full brother to AGS Breeder Leader ARMCH
Rosasharn's Uni 3*D, 2*M EX90 (EEEV). ARMCH Goodwood Tom
Thumb +*S appears on both sides of Honey Bear's pedigree as
well.
Nor is Honey Bear
outshined by his pedigree. He is an extremely long-bodied
buck with incredible dairy character, well angulated rear legs,
long neck and strong breed character. He also has an
incredibly sweet personality which we hope he'll also pass on to
his kids. Thanks to Matt Kerner for allowing Honey Bear to join
our breeding program.
Look for his first
kids here this fall and in Spring of 2013. Honey
Bear is available for stud service.

I was so happy to
have Mario here when we lost his older brother, Magnum our Tur-Beau
replacement sire. Magnum appears to be taking after his
dam, Marta. His first kids will arrive in June 2010. |

Marta isn't getting
any younger, so I was quite happy when she gifted me with
triplets again this year. This little guy and his sister
are both staying. Plus, his color is one we haven't seen
at Pemberley Acres in a while! In keeping with our 2010
Scottish/Gaelic name theme, "Mungan" means "beloved" or
"amiable". |

Tae is so dairy, yet
deep and wide, and sports a lovely, productive, well-attached
udder that I had to keep up buck out of her. As expected
of a Tae-Beau son, Tavish is maturing into a very dairy young
sire. "Tavish" is a Scottish name which means "beloved." |
Stud Service is available!

A big thanks goes
out to our friends the Cole Family (Bannerfield
Farm) for letting us use Mark during the 2011/2012 breeding
season. Exposed to MCH Marta VG and Tae-Beau.
The Coles say this
about Mark: "... His superior genetics, including ARMCH Caesar's
Villa CBS Stetson and CornerStone Farm Lydia 2*D AR1825, bring
proven milking lines to our herd. Mark is all we could hope for
in a herdsire. He is naturally uphill, with a terrific topline.
He is wide, both in barrel and escutcheon, with nice angulation."
Mark's paternal
siblings include AGS National and Reserve National Champions,
Top 10 producers, many AR star qualifying does, and several
permanent champions. His dam line goes back to Rosasharn's Tina
2*D, dam to our foundation buck High Acres Halftone Neapolitan
+*S. Mark himself has produced several quality does in the
CornerStone Farm and Bannerfield herds. |
