Honey Bear is
the son of National Champion and Top Ten Doe ARMCH Rosashan's
Buckwheat Honey 3*D, 2*M EX91 (EEEE). We are thrilled to have
him here and look forward to his first kids this fall and spring of
2013. More information about Honey Bear can be found on the
Nigerian Herd Sires page.
Hi! And thanks for visiting the virtual Pemberley
Acres! We are located in beautiful
central Virginia, about 1 1/2 hours north of Richmond on a 25
acre farm that is home to Pemberley Acres,
Cornerstone Llamas, Larry and Norma Sides (also know as my parents!), my little brother,
Nathaniel, and me, your guide and Pemberley herd manager, Stephen. Living
with us are (currently) about 30 registered llamas, a million chickens, and my
herd of Nigerian Dwarf and Alpine dairy goats.
Here at
Pemberley Acres we strive to produce healthy, hard working, stylish dairy goats
that are capable of being prolific in the milk parlor, competitive in the showring,
and endearing as family pets. We have been raising Nigerians for over
ten years now and have come to love them for their small size, even temperament,
and delicious milk! In the spring of 2005 we were able to expand our herd
and acquire a beautiful, GCH American Alpine as the foundation of our new Alpine
breeding program! I am so happy to be working with this hard working and
elegant breed.
